Gruyere & Salami Pinwheels

INGREDIENTS

Puff Pastry

Gruyere Cheese

Pecorino Romano Cheese

Prosciutto

Capicola

Salami Milano

INSTRUCTIONS

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Take the Gruyere Cheese and grate into a bowl ready, then roll out the Puff Pastry.

Crack an Egg into a bowl and beat into an Egg wash.

Lay the cured Meats onto the Pastry and sprinkle over the Gruyere.

Next, grate over the Pecorino and lightly season.

Roll up the Pastry fairly tight but as evenly as you can.

Leave a thin side of the Pastry and brush with Egg wash.

Roll over Pastry and cut the roll into 1-2 inch thick Pinwheels.

Lay the Pinwheels onto a baking tray and brush in the Egg wash and add a small sprinkle of rock Salt.

Bake the Pinwheels for around 15 minutes until the Pastry is brown, Puffed up and flaky.

Serve the Pinwheels hot, warm or cold.
