Perfect Steak
INGREDIENTS
Steak of your choice
Bulb of Garlic
Handful of Rosemary and Thyme
Butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove your Steak from the fridge at least 1 hour before use.
Pop a frying pan on the hob and turn the heat up high.
While the pan gets hot season the Steak generously with sea Salt and black Pepper.
Chop a full bulb of Garlic in half.
Add a splash of olive oil to the pan and once you see a light smoking lay in the Steak.
DO NOT touch the Steak for 1 minute, then turn and leave for 1 more minute on the other side.
Once both sides of the Steak have been seared throw in both halves of the Garlic, a very generous knob of Butter and a bunch of Rosemary and Thyme.
Baste the Steak with the foaming butter for 1 minute on each side then remove the Steak and leave to rest for around 7 minutes.
Once rested, carve and serve.
