“Posh” Mushy Peas
INGREDIENTS
600-700g of Garden Peas
3-5 Tbl sp of Double Cream
1 Tbl sp of Butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Pop your Peas into a sauce pan of boiling water.
Turn down the heat and simmer for around 5 minutes to tenderise the Peas.
Drain the Peas and pop them back into the same pan and return to a very low heat.
Add a knob of Butter, season and start mashing the Peas.
Once the Peas are fairly well mashed up add a splash of double cream and mash to the consistency you want.
