Pan Roasted Grouse
INGREDIENTS
Whole Grouse
Bulb of Garlic
Butter
Rosemary & Thyme
INSTRUCTIONS
Take 4-6 Cloves of Garlic, Crush them with the back of a Knife, but don’t peel them.
Add a tiny drizzle of Olive Oil and season the Grouse with Salt and Pepper.
Turn on the oven and pre heat to 180 -200 degrees.
Pop an oven proof pan on a high heat and add a knob of Butter.
Place the Grouse in the pan once the Butter gets nice and foamy.
Brown the Grouse off on all sides and baste for 3-4 minutes.
Place the Grouse in the oven and roast for another 4 minutes.
Remove the Grouse from the oven and let the Bird rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
